Absolutely.\u201d\n \nIn the run up to Kenya\u2019s presidential election in August, the two main candidates - Raila Odinga and William Ruto \u2013 have been making a lot of noise about making sure that \u2018women are at the decision-making table\u2019. \n \nSo as deadline day approached today, most people expected them both to choose a woman as their running mate. This would have meant Kenya\u2019s first ever female vice-president. \n \nBut after a weekend of intense negotiations William Ruto plumped for a man \u2013 a strong and wealthy campaigner with a big war chest. \n \nSo all eyes were on Raila Odinga as he announced his running mate\u2026. veteran politician Martha Karua. \n \nSo what impact will she have on Raila Odinga\u2019s presidential bid?
