Uganda\u2019s government closed schools when the pandemic hit in March 2020.\nSome children haven\u2019t been back to the classroom since.\nAnd others only returned for a few weeks.\nUganda is the last country in Africa to keep its schools fully shuttered.\nPresident Museveni says in person teaching will resume in January at the earliest.\nSo, has it been worth it? And how are Uganda\u2019s children coping without school?
