Leaving Syria isn't going to lead to the outcome that both sides of the media is claiming will happen. The nuances of what's really happening with every faction involved makes it less of a binary black and white choice that progressive and conservative media are making it out to be. Also, Mattis leaving isn't a complete disaster either. 

Let's revisit the Benghazi debacle with new information, and how it also impacted Syria as well.
