This Month on Acoustic Mass we are playing one album per show to showcase the genius of each artist's music, songwriting and concept as a whole album. I will be playing the entire album in order.
These days, people buy this song and that song because they like them, and rarely buy entire albums and therefore rarely experience them as a whole work of art.
Tonight's show we're featuring Diva which is the debut solo album by singer-songwriter Annie Lennox, (Originaly of the Eurhytmics) released in 1992. This album has special significance to me personally, I listened to this album over and over and over again the year it came out after a heartwrenching breakup I endured. This album was my solace and helped me overcome my pain desolation. My favorite songs are Why, Little Bird, Money Can't Buy It, Cold, Walking on Broken Glass, Precious and the rest! :)
