The Moonstone is an adventure.romance/mystery which deals with the theft of a priceless diamond from a country home in England and the efforts to find the legendary diamond and its thief. The story by author Wilkie Collins has been dramatized on film, radio, and TV numerous times. The Moonstone was originally plundered during a British invasion of a temple in India, and said to come with a curse to all who come by it illegally. An investigator working to solve the crime has asked all the persons who were involved in any way with the manor at the time of the theft to write an account of how they were connected with the Moonstone, and this is how the story unfolds.
