Will New Software Grow Your Business?

I grew up watching my father practice law. His office wasn't lit up with flashing routers and big screens. Websites, videoconferencing, and autoresponders weren't a part of his firm. But, even in the '70s, he had a practice-management system that consisted of folders, bankers boxes, and rolodexes. Despite his technological limitations, he knew the importance of organization and quick comprehension of information at a glance. He had no misconceptions that reams of paper would magically generate business. Today, we live in a new (un)reality. We're spoonfed hope in recurring subscriptions. Businesses buy into the illusion that new apps will solve their revenue problems. We're bombarded with ads and calls about next-generation practice management systems---systems so smart and AI-powered that success is inevitable. Software alone won't make the phone ring or fill your inbox with inquiries. While essential, software is a tool. Your intelligent utilization of new tech is still required.
