We chat with India about life as a Sommelier and wine blogger. India was born in Italy and moved over to the Netherlands when she was very young, but being from an Italian family meant that she was exposed to wine culture from the get go, being allowed to try a drop of wine mixed with water on the odd occasion at dinner. It wasn't until India was twenty one that she really got into wine, after attending her first wine course she realised she had a real passion for the industry. From then on India continued to grow her knowledge of wine and the industry itself, working as a sommelier in Amsterdam as well as starting her own wine blog which is called Winespicegirl where India writes about wines and her adventures from all across the world. India's approach to wine is very modern, its all about being inviting, inclusive and most importantly fun.
