When Paul told the Corinthian church they were the temple of the living God, an entire history of the temple was behind that truth! What is the history that gives meaning to the unbelievable truth that we are the temple of God, and that the Holy Spirit dwells in us? As history begins with the creation of the cosmic temple (Genesis 1), and ends with the final revelation of the temple (Revelation21- 22), what implications are felt by the church which is the temple of the living God?
