Faranak Partoazar is a professional mountain biker and cyclist. Though a structural engineer by profession, her love and passion for biking didn\u2019t stop her from achieving her dreams! Born in Shiraz, a city south of Iran, her real fight started long before she could even compete on a race track, as she had to fight passionately to get the right of "riding the bike freely as a girl\u201d in the strict and traditional society of Iran. She professionally started her career in 2014 with the national team of Iran. Ever since she has won all national titles and became the first ever female Iranian cyclist to medal at the Asian championships which led her to winning a Bronze medal in the 2019 Asian Championships. She is also ranked as the number one female Asian rider.
