Dan is the President of Tresca Design, an engineering firm providing end-to-end engineering service for products, components, and machines, with capabilities spanning the entire product lifecycle. Here we talk about what local businesses miss or misunderstand when it comes to engineering of products and software, what questions they should be asking and what he's learned over the years scaling his business and working with great local clients.

His background has always been in engineering, holding his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. He is passionate about bringing sensible solutions to complex technical problems. Dan has a strong focus on giving back to the community in Western New York that has given him so much in my career, and he currently sits on the boards of two local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations: the Western New York Invention Convention, and the WNY Prosperity Fellowship Inc.
