Tater Day Gets New Lease on Life

The first Monday of every April is known to the residents of Benton, Kentucky, as Tater Day. The local holiday started 168 years ago as a day for agricultural trading, but faded as the years went by. Today it has a parade, beauty pageant, cookoff, and carnival. Long time Kiwanis Club member, Robert McCrory, spoke with Rose Krzton-Presson about how he helped to revive Tater Day over fifty years ago and what it's been like since then.
