Every day 5,500 dogs are euthanized in animal shelters across the country. However, Kentucky artist Mark Barone and his partner Marina Dervan are working to prevent that. The pair has started an organization called "An Act of Dog" to encourage people around the country to make the US a "no kill nation." Shelly Baskin spoke with Barone about his efforts.
