Since February, filmmaker Raymond De Felitta has been blogging on Salon dot com about the experience of making City Island, detailing the challenges he and producer and star Andy Garcia faced in getting the film financed, cast, and completed. The fruit of their labor is now onscreen this week at Paducah's Maiden Alley Cinema.
