Last week, we reported that unemployment in Massac County dropped significantly from August to September, but so did the workforce. Jacque Day looked further into the matter, and discovered the trend wasn't unique to Massac unemployment fell in counties across Illinois. Coincidentally the data was released days before the mid-term election.
