Moore is passionate about developing branding initiatives, internal communications, and external media relations. In her previous role as an Event Productions and Corporate Relations Manager at BET Networks, a television channel targeting African American audiences, she oversaw colossal events such as The BET Awards, Bobby Jones Gospel, Black Girls Rock, The BET HIP HOP Awards, Celebration of Gospel, Sunday Best, The Soul Train Awards, and The BET Honors, which provided her with 10 years of event management experience. Early in her career, as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, she specialized in implementing procedures for manual and electronic creation, control, coordination, dissemination, and disposal of administrative communications. Tonya holds a Master of Arts in Public Relations from Full Sail University, a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary \u2013 Multidisciplinary Studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and an Associate of Arts in Fashion Marketing from American InterContinental University. In addition to excelling in the Philip J. Cohen Scholars Program and graduating from UNLV with honors, she was a gaming innovation finalist in The Center for Gaming Innovation Program at UNLV. She was also awarded the Salutatorian Award from Full Sail University. Currently, Tonya is pursuing her doctorate degree in Communications at Liberty University. In her spare time, Tonya enjoys volunteering at nonprofit organizations, walking to reach her goal of 15,000 steps per day, riding her mountain bike, and roller skating.
