Proditione (A minor) from the album Rouge Planet (Part 1).
The New Lew Johnson is a pseudonym for Louis L. Johnson. The off spelling helps to disambiguate from Louis Johnson from The Brothers Johnson, et al. Also, his name was originally spelled 'Lewis'. The New Lew Johnson was born February 2nd 1981 in Elkhart, IN. He has been in the music business since 1996 when he was in K.S.P., but didn't start The New Lew Johnson until 2002. While he is a solo acoustic artist, he plays in all genres of music. He plays all the instruments on each album, but is a huge fan of dark ambient music. The music is rather unpolished and imperfect; quite frankly, he likes it that way. He loves to use weird sound effects in the music that give an unnerving tone. Especially when playing ambient music, Lou tends to mix a great multitude of loops and samples, normally in 6/8 time.
Lou is a two-time US Navy vet and served during OEF/OIF. He was attached to the USS Rodney M. Davis, Naples 106, NTTC DET Lackland AFB and NMCB 25.
