A Secretary from Connecticut actually won $49,000 in the Colgate forty-niner contest and in this episode our Miss Brooks disillusioned gets the idea to give up teaching and become a secretary in Connecticut. After all Mrs Grace winner of the sponsors competition would probably be giving up her job now after winning all that money.
