In trying to describe this episode, I am reminded of Wittgenstein's Blue Book, which he prefaced with some words to the effect that it would only be understood by readers who had already thought along similar lines themselves. In that vein, listener beware: This episode is unusually rambling and associative even by my own standards because it seeks to articulate something which lies on the edge of my current understanding.
