Two Minutes in Trade - The Court of International Trade finds Importers Authorized Under State Law To Import Paraphernalia
In two recent decisions, the CIT found importers were authorized under Washington State law to import certain paraphernalia. In doing so, the CIT has brought much needed clarity to what is required to trigger the Section 863 exemption on the statute’s prohibition of importation of drug paraphernalia.
