My guest today is an acclaimed world author, chef, culinary educator, television personality and artist. He has written over 30 cookbooks including \u201cLe Technique\u201d, \u201cThe Apprentice\u201d, \u201cHeart and Soul in The Kitchen\u201d, and his most recent book: \u201cJacques Pepin Quick and Simple\u201d comes out October 6th. His television credentials include the PBS series \u201cThe Complete Pepin\u201d and \u201cFast Food My Way\u201d, among others. He co-starred in the PBS series: Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home\u201d, alongside his friend Julia Child. The program was awarded a Daytime Emmy.

In 2016 along with his daughter and son-in-law, he created \u201cThe Jacques Pepin Foundation\u201d to support culinary education for adults with barriers to employment.
