My guest today is a culinary historian, lawyer and public policy adviser. He is the author of two books, The first one: \u201cSoul Food\u201d was released in 2014 for which he won the James Beard foundation book award for reference and scholarship, and the second book is called: The President \u2018s Kitchen Cabinet, which was nominated for a 2018 NAACP IMAGE AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING LITERARY WORK-NON FICTION, also served as a special assistant in the Clinton administration and deputy director of the Presidents Initiative for One America.
