Sales Training Tips and Insights from Laura Wheatley

Laura Wheatley is the Global Enablement Director at Quantum.  In this session with The Collaborator, Laura shared a few wonderful tips.

1️⃣ When working in-person, she schedules time to walk the floor and see how people are doing, what pain points they are working to overcome.  This builds relationships and identifies opportunities for improvements.

2️⃣She sends an email on Monday mornings summarizing what new content came out last week.  Yes, people could look it up for themselves, but make their lives easier and send this summary.

3️⃣Conversations not presentations.   Dig to three levels on who, what, when, where, why, and how to peel back the onion and get to the root of their needs.

As you do this you get to a better shared understanding of needs, more stakeholders at the table, and can create better outcomes.
