Vas Saranga is an actor, editor, writer and director. His first big break came when he was cast in a lead role on TVO\u2019s A WORLD OF WONDERS\xa0followed soon after by a supporting role in AMERICAN PIE PRESENTS: BETA HOUSE starring\xa0Eugene Levy. His breakout role was in the Disney XD series AARON STONE. Vas eventually\xa0became widely known for his starring role as Reese in TELETOON\u2019s live-action animation hybrid\xa0MUDPIT in which he also had the opportunity to let his musical talents shine by recording an\xa0album of songs featured in the show.

Vas has amassed a significant body of high quality work in several film and television\xa0productions including THE HANDMAID'S TALE (HULU), THE STRAIN (FX), SALVATION (CBS), THE\xa0GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE (STARZ), ORPHAN BLACK (BBC AMERICA), TODD AND THE BOOK OF\xa0PURE EVIL (CTV), TRANSPLANT (CTV/NBC), LITTLE ITALY alongside Emma Roberts and Hayden\xa0Christiansen, BAKING ALL THE WAY (PRIME VIDEO), THE CLUE TO LOVE (PRIME VIDEO), and\xa0FIRESTARTER.

Coming up next, Vas can be seen in a leading role in the new CBC Gem original series YOU'RE\xa0MY HERO following the story of a 20-something with cerebral palsy as he tries to find love and\xa0purpose in a world not designed for wheels. The show premiered on March 24.
