Susan\xa0Muranty is a multi-talented singer-songwriter and artist whose passion for music has carried her a long way from the tiny suburban studio she calls \u201cThe Light Box\u201d in her hometown of Sydney Australia. Honored with awards from major songwriting competitions around the world, including the\xa0Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA), UK Songwriting Contest\xa0and\xa0Great American Song Contest,\xa0she marvels at the journey that has brought her to this special place in her creative evolution.

\u201cTen years ago, I would have laughed if you\u2019d told me I\u2019d be performing my own songs - and winning awards for them. When I began writing lyrics, I didn't even know what a chord was!\u201d says\xa0Susan. \u201cI\u2019d always sung around the house - and for my young son to get him to sleep - but that was the extent of my musical knowledge and understanding. I woke up one morning after a long period of personal stress - right in the middle of a relationship breakdown - and lyrics literally started falling out of my head. It really took me by surprise. Then the melodies started - I was even dreaming them!\xa0

Susan\xa0began working remotely with \u201camazing\u201d musicians such as Grammy Award Winning Producer and\xa0Bob Dylan\xa0guitarist,\xa0Bob Britt\xa0who produced her 2016 EP Blue is The Hottest Flame and, during a later trip to Nashville, she and Bob co-wrote her first iTunes Chart-topping ballad, Some Loving Left To Do, released in 2020. It was here that she and Bob recorded Stop Time With A Kiss, the first single from her forthcoming album to be released in mid-2022. Debuting at Number One on the Australian iTunes singer-\xa0songwriter chart in September 2021, it also gained\xa0Susan\xa0a coveted Top 10 spot in the All Music Genres Chart and a nomination in the Americana Category of the\xa0Hollywood Music in Media (HMMA) Awards\xa0and a Number Two berth on the competitive\xa0Australian AMRAP Metro Radio Chart.
