Ryan Ali is a fast-rising actor captivating audiences with his unique blend\xa0of cultural influences that infuse depth into his acting having immigrated\xa0from Syria to Montreal, Canada not once, but twice.

In 2014, Ryan landed his first professional role on the sci-fi mystery\xa0drama miniseries ASCENSION (Syfy/Netflix). His first big break came\xa0when he was cast opposite Salma Hayek and Alexander Skarsgard in\xa0Kim Nguyen\u2019s feature film THE HUMMINGBIRD PROJECT.

Since then, Ryan has amassed a significant body of work on major film and television productions including 19-2 (Bravo/CTV), RENCONTRES (Bell Fibe TV), THE DETECTIVES (CBC), SKYMED (CBC/Paramount+) and FOUNDATION(Apple TV+).

Most recently, Ryan landed his biggest role yet as the titular lead in the\xa0new feature film QUEEN TUT, following an Egyptian teenager who\xa0begins a new friendship with a trans mother after immigrating to
Toronto from his home of Cairo. The film is currently making its film\xa0festival rounds.

Coming up next, Ryan is set to reprise his role as Reese in the second\xa0season of the highly acclaimed medical drama series SKYMED. The\xa0show, which centres on the nurses and pilots working for an air
ambulance service in remote northern Manitoba, made its premiere on October 1st on CBC. An international premiere date on Paramount+\xa0is set to be announced soon.
