No strangers to the spotlight, Los Angeles-based pop/R&B band\xa0ICYDAY\xa0is the\xa0coolest new indie act. Gearing up to release their debut album in Spring 2024, ICYDAY debuted their first song\xa0\u201cOpen Up\u201d on January 18th, and upbeat dance track\xa0\u201cOne More Song\u201d\xa0(March 8th) which will be featured in the upcoming\xa0Netflix film\xa0"ROCKBOTTOM"\xa0(Stars Jake Bongiovi).

The hot new trio features singer/guitarist/bassist\xa0Sloane Morgan Siegel, an influential actor known for\xa0Gotham Knights\xa0(DC Entertainment video game), BYUTV\u2019s \u201cDwight in Shining Armor,\u201d and Prime Video\u2019s \u201cGortimer Gibbon\u2019s Life on Normal Street.\u201d The group is multi-talented, also comprised of actor and drummer/singer\xa0David Bloom\xa0known for\xa0Disney+\u2019s \u201cAmerican Born Chinese,\u201d ABC's \u201cThe Goldbergs,\u201d\xa0and Roku\u2019s \u201cWEIRD The Al Yankovic Story.\u201d\xa0Rounding out the trio is talented\xa0guitarist/pianist\xa0Isaac Cohen.\xa0

ICYDAY\u2019s debut song \u201cOpen Up\u201d released on January 18th. The catchy laidback single demonstrates the group\u2019s serious musical talent for crafting melody, blending elements of jazz, pop, indie, and funk into a commercial sound that you can just envision in the background of a film or your favorite coffee shop. \u201cOpen Up\u201d is an honest song about wanting to know somebody better, the ebbs and flows of a relationship, with tasteful R&B electric guitar and neo-soul sound.
