He has appeared in numerous high-profile films and television series\xa0 including Smallville,\xa0Caprica,\xa0Godzilla,\xa0The Man in the High Castle,\xa0Altered Carbon,\xa0iZombie,\xa0Legends of Tomorrow,\xa0Heroes Reborn\xa0and\xa0Kim's Convenience\xa0and was a writer on\xa0Da Vinci's City Hall. As a voice-over artist, he was the original English-language voice of\xa0Gihren Zabi\xa0in the\xa0Mobile Suit Gundam\xa0franchise and played\xa0Reed Richards\xa0in\xa0Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes.

Kanagawa has also written several stage dramas. He won the\xa0Governor General\u2019s Literary Award for English-language Drama\xa0for his 2017 play\xa0Indian Arm.
