Curtis, a single\xa0mother raising her son while also juggling an exploding music career, wrote the song with her father in mind. Curtis says, "Growing up it\xa0was hard to see my dad give up on his dreams to\xa0raise me and my siblings so I wrote this song to let him know his dreams are still alive and I\u2019ll be\xa0picking up\xa0where\xa0he left off.
