\\xa0Ava Cantrell\\xa0currently stars as the titular lead character in the revenge-horror film\\xa0ABIGAIL, now available on VOD. Having successfully worked in Hollywood since the age of 7, Cantrell first made name for herself on Nickelodeon\\u2019s hit series \\u201cThe Haunted Hathaways\\u201d before working on such acclaimed series as\\xa0CBS\\u2019 \\u201cYoung Sheldon\\u201d opposite\\xa0Jason Alexander, and most recently co-starring in Warner Bros/New Line Cinema\'s horror feature\\xa0LIGHTS\\xa0OUT.

ABIGAIL is set in 1976 and follows troubled teen \\u2018Abigail\\u2019 (Cantrell) who befriends her bullied neighbor and helps him fight back. As she takes him under her wing, her obsession with seeking revenge on his tormentors becomes deadly, and the secrets of her past begin to surface. Directed by indie producer / filmmaker Melissa Vitello and written by Gunner Garrett, the film comes from Dark Star Pictures and premiered on VOD on December 5th.\\xa0

San Diego born-and-raised; Cantrell most recently co-starred as supernatural antagonist teen \\u2018Diana\\u2019 in Warner Bros/New Line Cinema\'s horror feature LIGHTS\\xa0OUT. She also stars in the Stan Lee recommended indie sci-fi feature film\\xa0ONE UNDER THE SUN where she won \\u2018Best Leading Young Actress\\u2019 at the\\xa0Young Entertainer Awards. She is best known for her recurring role on Nickelodeon\'s comedy\\xa0\\u201cThe Haunted Hathaways\\u201d and\\xa0she also recurs on hit series "Young Sheldon" working with some of the most talented comedic actresses and actors in the business. In 2015, Cantrell costarred in the NBC pilot\\xa0\\u201cNot Safe for Work\\u201d\\xa0working with comedy legends Fred Willard (BEST IN SHOW, ANCHORMAN) and Cheri Oteri (SNL) as well as the\\xa0web series\\xa0\\u201cCam Girls\\u201d\\xa0from producer David Slack (\\u201cPerson of Interest\\u201d, \\u201cMagnum P.I.\\u201d).
