Toni's three-year-old son Lachie suffered a nasty head injury while at his sister's hockey game. He cut his head open and required three injections in the wound and 6 full-blown stitches.Toni took him to Northcare in Auckland's North Shore and her doctor confided in her about his breaking point while working the 12th hour of his shift.\xa0
Lachie was his 58th patient that day (out of 62) and Peter expressed to Toni how stretched thin he is and how it is affecting his abilities. He said it was the most stressful day of his career.
