SUSAN Petersen is the CEO and founder of Freshly Picked, a moccasin company that she started in 2009. She started making baby moccasins after becoming frustrated by the lack of well-designed baby shoes. Working at her kitchen table, on a shoestring budget, Susan persisted through some disastrous attempts until she had created a pair of moccasins that not only looked adorable on his son\u2019s chubby little feet, but stayed on his feet as well. Her moccasins have now grown to a well-known brand and has been featured on Parenting Magazine, US Weekly, In Touch, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and many others.
