I'm joined this week by the mayor of Barrie, Ontario. Jeff Lehman trained as an economist and worked in the private sector before being elected mayor in 2010. He was re-elected in a landslide victory in 2014 when he won 90% of the vote. He and I discuss the growth of government spending and how technology might be able to keep that growth in check.
