The winner of a Pulitzer Prize for criticism,\xa0Margo Jefferson\xa0previously served as book and arts critic for\xa0Newsweek\xa0and\xa0the\xa0New York Times. Her writing has appeared in, among other publications,\xa0Vogue,\xa0New York Magazine,\xa0The Nation, and\xa0Guernica. Her memoir,\xa0Negroland, received the National Book Critics Circle Award for Autobiography. She is also the author of\xa0On Michael Jackson\xa0and is a professor of writing at Columbia University School of the Arts.
