What would happen to his sycophants and acolytes, to his base and unthinking loyalists. What would happen to the racial tension in the country and the division and bigotry. What would happen to American foreign policy, the EU, NATO, Ukraine and Russia and for that matter China and Taiwan. What would happen to all the various investigations against him and his friends. What would happen to the GOP, the 2022 elections and the presidential elections in 2024. Of course, it's hard to say but we do know that just as his presence has a daily affect on things, so would his absence.
