\nPresident Biden's political agenda was hijacked last week by W. Virgina's Democratic Senator, Joe Manchin. He announced that he would not vote for any climate change bill measures, to include alternate energy development. Also, he refuses to discuss the taxation of a minimum 15% international corporate tax rate, contrary to his previous statements. Without Manchin's 50th Senate vote, President Biden may soon be labeled owner of a lame duck administration. Given recent polling, President Biden is at an all time low of 39% favorable rating. A NY Times poll reflects 64% of Democrats do not want Joe Biden to run for a second term. Like President Carter, high inflation and gas prices lend to these numbers. If the president's agenda has been blocked by Manchin, how does Joe Biden turn his dismal approval numbers around?
