\nOn Wednesday October 27, 2021 Mayor Rick Blangiardi announced the loosening of COVID 19 restrictions allowing those restaurants and bars who are licensed to stay open until 2am, effective immediately. The announcement comes as Oahu\u2019s vaccination rate has increased to 90% of eligible people having at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and the city has seen a decrease in hospitalizations. Will this announcement of this new mandate help restaurants/bars?
