\nArchitecture (amongst many other aspects) provides sheltered space and a feeling of secure privacy within an increasingly felt out of control everyday world. But these qualities of Architecture are increasingly out of reach of affordability for an increasing amount of people which is why people increasingly feel out of touch with architecture which gets architecture in trouble.
\nAutomobiles on the other hand provide similar properties (of providing the bubble sheltered space and a feeling of secure privacy) and remain relatively more accessible to people as a more affordable and able to change commodity which is why pandemic populated people are increasingly in touch with their automobiles.
