\nJapan post-Abe has become a very interesting place. The assassination of the former Prime Minister Abe and major power broker in the dominant Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has set in motion a variety of completely unexpected twists and turns in the world of Japanese politics. Learn about what has happened from Michael Penn of Shingetsu News who broke the story on the relationship between the murderer of Abe and the Japanese branch of the Moony (The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification) church. On September 27th the leaders of the LDP held an official state funeral for Abe, which had a very mixed response on Japan. The cost of the Abe state funeral was estimated at $12 million which was higher than the estimated cost of the recent funeral for Queen Elizabeth.
