\nTrump often told the American public he would like to share his tax returns if he wasn't under audit by the IRS. His refusal to do so turned into years of legal fighting. However, the recent Supreme Court decision which required the release of those returns to the Democratic Ways and Means Committee revealed an important fact- he was not being audited by the IRS. Trump's response to the delivery of six years of his tax returns to the committee resulted in a warning that this SCOTUS decision will create an atmosphere of open hostilities which will require President Joe Biden to share his tax returns. The fact that President Biden has already shared his tax returns makes Trump's dire threats look irrelevant and points out, yet again, Trump is uninformed. The main takeaways from the Trump tax returns release are discussed by the panel.
