Since its inception, the United Nations faces its largest moral challenge with the invasion of Ukraine resulting in growing cases of gross systemic human rights violations and increasing examples of war crimes enshrined in the Rome Statute. The world must stand in solidarity with Ukraine to ensure no other nation faces aggression through a higher degree of deterrence.
