As far as the U.S.-China trade deal, Biden is under pressure not to depart from Trump's approach, at least in the short-term rolling back the tariffs. The recent inking of the EU-China investment deal and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RECEP) involving China and 14 other Asia-Pacific nations, including Japan, douses Biden's proposed development of a multilateral approach to China.
