\nHawaii businesses are still dealing with staffing shortages and the restaurant community is no exception. Restaurants have been some of the hardest hit businesses and many operators expect this to continue through 2022. According to research done by the National Restaurant Association, roughly half of the operators believe that recruiting and retaining workers will be their biggest challenge this year. Mark Menard and Sandy Dyel give us information on the functions of the American Job Center and how businesses are able to utilize their services to find qualified employees.
