\nGregory Hugh grew up in the humble circumstances of Chicago\u2019s Chinatown ethnic enclave and moved to Minnesota in 1969. He went on to found China Insight in 2001, which is the only English-language American newspaper to focus exclusively on business and cultural connections between the United States and China. Mr. Hugh has spent his life and career dedicated to increasing the recognition of the Chinese American community and improving business and cultural ties between the United States and China. His newspaper is dedicated to developing mutual understanding of different cultures, and provides an important platform for Chinese Americans in Minnesota. In 2022, Greg Hugh received the Asian Pacific Leadership Award for his outstanding contribution to Asian Pacific Minnesotans.
