\nLast month, The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Texas because their new voting law won't allow any assistance to voters who have questions or are physically unable to see their ballots. Today, Merrick Garland, US Attorney General filed a suit against TX due to the new lines drawn of voting districts. These newly created districts exclude Latinos and Black voters. Specifically, Garland cited violation of Section 2 of the Civil Rights Act.
