\nWorking in academia can keep you in a perpetual state of self reflection. It can be scary to realize that questions students are asking at age 20 are the same questions that haven't been quite nailed down at age 40. Socrates warned that an unexamined life is not worth living. How then can you creatively make sense of present day life choices without a guide on the side? Life choices that include pop cultural influences, career dramas, ethical dilemmas and sometimes even breakthroughs in therapy are just a few examples that can get in the way. Analysis paralysis may take over. By becoming aware and unashamed of your own strengths and weaknesses, a patchwork quilt of experience evolves. Accrued experiences enhance one's efforts in helping students examine their own interests, work across disciplines in teams with faculty members and fellow students, and craft one's own narratives for the future. Join us in examining a University process for personal growth and lifelong productivity.
