\nOn Sunday June 19, 2022, the Colombians elected for the first time in history a left-sided government led by Gustavo Petro, former Bogota mayor and demobilized rebel member, and Francia M\xe1rquez, a Black feminist and environmental social leader. Continuing a short series on the election, in this episode, Alvaro Salgado discusses with Nicol\xe1s S\xfcssmann another perspective from the center of the political spectrum. They discuss what the election means from that standpoint, how the center sees the election and the decisions made by the president elect, and the implication that this has for the country, including hints that the new administration has given in its first weeks post-election about its future plans. Between hope and fear of different sectors, we analyze how the new government is looking for Colombia.
