This week House Select Committee Vice-Chair, Liz Cheney, announced the January 6 House Committee has gathered enough evidence to recommend to the Department of Justice that a criminal investigation against Trump and his attorney John Eastman should take place. The Committee has not fully agreed as to what path to take or when to take it. Issues of timing and impact of a DOJ investigation are discussed by the panel.
