\nThe ongoing Republican effort to undo voting in this country may not be on the top of the news every day, but it certainly should be.
\n
\nOur panel takes a look at state action in Republican states like Texas for example to suppress voting by voters of color, the bills that have been adopted in those states, the extraordinary effect of redistricting on the coming elections, the removal of voting officials, the death threats made to those officials and to our poll workers, the status and prospects of the two voting rights bills in Congress, the likelihood of a big or bigger turnout in 2022 or 2024, the emergence of activist organizations dedicated on the one hand to call for fair voting, and on the other to oppose it, the reactions of voters, and how all of this will affect the elections in 2022 and 2024 and in between, and how it will affect our democracy and the future of our society.
