b"Despite our best efforts to control as much as possible, it doesn't always play out as we hope. We are doing our best to plan, prepare, manage, organize BUT there is so much out of our control, it can be overwhelming and exhausting. Recently, I started to gain a greater appreciation for what is going RIGHT, even if I'm not controlling it. Frankly, it's a lot. I don't have to micromanage everything, that weight can be lifted off my shoulders. I mean, do things go better when I'm involved (in my opinion), you bet! But, there's a lot of stuff that happens extraordinarily, even though I'm not paying attention to it. www.michelemagner.com --- We have so many interactions with humans throughout our day. Either people we know, strangers we interact with, or others that barely cross paths with but still leave their mark. Some interactions leave us riding high and others leave us feeling YUCK. In this episode I talk about assuming positive intentions and giving people the benefit of the doubt. Yeah, I know it can be tough, but hope you'll hear me out about what these things are, and how I think they've served me in my life. Thinking through who you are interacting with regularly. Where could these things serve you? Or maybe it's time to have an honest conversation and clean up the connection.
