Depending on the image you choose you made need different variations of those images for your brand. As an example, you need a YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram banner, and profile images for them as well. Most of them are different dimensions and have different areas that the images are cropped to. So a rectangle images that has stuff you want you viewers to see on Facebook on the sides(websites, social media accounts etc,) might not be visible in a YouTube banner crop.
